Product Design - The Car Buddy
Spring 2018
Purpose - The goal of this project was to practice the engineering design process by creating a product that solves a real world issue.
Issue - We always have trash in the car, but never a proper place to store all of it. With this product, this issue is solved.
Early Design - These are some sketches from the early design stages. Design indicates a two piece product which can extend to clip to back of car seat.
Final CAD Mockup - These are images from both the 3D and 2D CAD drawings. Both represent the assembly of both parts.
Prototypes - These are various prototypes developed through the design process. Each making improvements off of the last.
Product In Use - This is how the final product operated in a real life test
